NTA JEE MAIN 2019 Syllabus

NTA has announced JEE Main 2019 syllabus & Exam Pattern for April Examination on February 8, 2019. Main April 2019 attempt exam will be conducted from 7 to 12 April 2019 across various examination centers in India and Abroad. NTA Will conduct Paper 1 from April 8, 9, 10 and 12 while Paper 2 has been concluded on April 7, 2019. Applicants appearing for the national level engineering entrance exam must check the details of JEE Main 2019 syllabus and Exam Pattern to prepare for it.   • Exam Mode: The JEE MAIN EXAM is computer-based mode. The Paper 2 TEST will be conducted through offline mode.
  • Duration: The total exam duration will be 03 hours.
  • Paper 1 Type of Questions: The JEE MAIN 2019 question paper will be of selective type questions.
  • Paper 2 Type of Questions: Mathematics and Aptitude Section will be of objective type questions and drawing test will be subjective.
  • Marking Scheme: 04 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: 01 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • EXAM SHIFTS: Paper 1 will be held in two shifts, i.e. 9:30am to 12:30pm & 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Paper 2 will be conducted in two or more shifts.
  • Medium Question Paper: The JEE MAINS Question Paper will be in English, Hindi & Gujarati languages.

Mathematics Syllabus

The candidates are required to have a profound comprehension and routine with regards to the themes – Sets, Relations and Functions, Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability, Coordinate Geometry, Vector Algebra, Three Dimensional Geometry, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations,Binomial Theorem and its Simple Applications, Differential Equations, Integral Calculus, Limit,Continuity and Differentiability, Sequencers and Series, Permutation and Combination, Mathematical Induction, Mathematical Reasoning, Matrices and Determinants.

Physics Syllabus

Energy and Power, Gravitation, Kinematics, Electrostatics, Active Theory of Gases, Properties of Solids and Liquids, Work, Electromagnetic Induction, and Alternating Currents, Current Electricity, Optics, Thermodynamics, Physics, Oscillations and Waves, Electronic Devices, Rotational Motion, Laws of Motion, and Measurement.

Chemistry Syllabus:

Inorganic Chemistry – Hydrogen, Block Elements bunch 13 to aggregate 18 components, Block Elements (salt and soluble earth metals), Environmental Science, D and F Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Classifications of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals.

Natural Chemistry – Organic Compounds containing Halogens, Organic Compounds containing Nitrogen, Organic Compounds containing Oxygen, Purification and Characterisation of Organic Compounds, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Polymers, Biomolecules, Principles Related to Practical Chemistry.

Physical Chemistry – Equilibrium, Atomic Structure, Chemical Kinetics, States of Matter, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solution, Surface Chemistry, Redox Reactions, and Electrochemistry.

JEE MAIN 2019 Detailed Syllabus of Paper 2

Part – I

Expository thinking mental capacity (visual, numerical and verbal). Imagining, Awareness of individual, sports, structures, and materials. Envisioning three-dimensional items from two-dimensional illustrations.

Part – II

Comprehension and energy about the scale and extent of articles. Building structures and components, shading surface, amicability, and difference. Change of types of both 2D and 3D association, subtraction, revolution. Making two dimensional and three-dimensional organizations utilizing given shapes and structures.
